Automobile Donations

Are you thinking of selling or trading in your car? Before doing that, please consider making a donation to CLARE instead. Car donations are an efficient means of disposing of an unwanted vehicle while helping a worthy organization. When you donate your vehicle, you will receive a donation receipt which can be used for tax deduction purposes. By donating your car to CLARE, you will save the expense and aggravation involved in selling a car.

We will gladly pick up your car, but it must be in working condition. If your vehicle cannot be accepted, you will be advised upon pickup/dropoff. The vehicle must have a clear title. Cars donated to CLARE are sold to the general public, and we receive 100% of the profit.

Please note that CLARE does not determine "market value." According to IRS guidelines, the donor is responsible for determining the value based on the actual condition of the vehicle. For assistance, you may consult your tax advisor. You may also consult such resources as Edmunds (www.edmunds.com), and the Kelley Blue Book (www.kbb.com) to determine your car's value.
