True recovery means more than simple abstinence. It means addressing the issues that lead to addiction, and establishing the habits that support long-term sobriety.

CLARE's Men's Recovery Home (MRH) is a residential program designed specifically for recovering men. MRH offers structure and an on-site support system that allows clients to establish a sober lifestyle, confront their personal issues and recover their self-esteem as they move back toward independence and self-sufficiency.

MRH houses men in a six-month program. Using a daily regimen of 12-step study, peer interaction, group and family meetings, employment workshops, relapse prevention training, volunteer work and community chores, MRH residents lay the groundwork for a rewarding, sober future.

CLARE's Men's Recovery Home is open to recovering men over the age of 18. Participants must:

  1. have a problem with alcohol/drugs
  2. be abstinent from alcohol/drugs for at least 30 days
  3. have participated in a 12-step program within the last 6 months
  4. be able to perform activities of daily living; and
  5. comply with CLARE house rules.

Monthly fees are determined upon entry. Rooms are double occupancy. Most rooms are wheelchair accessible.
